Take a look at the Terms Of Service for Yahoo Groups.  Public lists are
treated very differently there than private ones are.  For instance, Yahoo
gets a perpetual right to use the contents of public lists, and these will
not necessarily be deleted even if you remove the group from their
system.  Private lists are destroyed when the group is shut down,
regardless of whether it is at Yahoo's whim, or the owner's.
