I called the vet about Valentine because last night he emerged from
his hidey hole (and I think we've discovered where it is), sat on my
pillow, purred, wanted to be petted, and when he got up, the pillow
was soaked. (I also powdered him with cornstarch baby powder because
he smelled so awful and I'm not sure if I can wash him by myself.
Steven has the flu.)

The vet said it's rare for cats to be completely incontinent, most
likely his bladder is irritated and he's not getting the usual signals
to go.

Val went for a walk with Boomer and I this morning, and did an
experimental scratch in the dirt, but he didn't go outside. But we're
getting closer to normal.
