He didn't.  He was responding to a message that was crossposted between
this list, smofs at lists.sflovers.org, and  committee at balticon.org,
and his reply went to all three.  Presumably he's a subscriber to
smofs at lists.sflovers.org.  Or just possibly committee at balticon.org.

Non-WSFAns can't read these emails unless a WSFAn forwards or
crossposts them, or unless a WSFAn reveals the location of the
online archives.  (I would notice within a couple days if the
latter happened, and would move the archives to a different URL.)

By WSFAn I include former WSFAns, of course.  Speaking of which, I
noticed in June's first Friday minutes that Evan Phillips is listed as
a "guest."  Is this a new way of nagging members to pay their dues?
