It's Mike Walsh's fault. My last car accident was when I was on my way
to Mike's office to deliver some Mirage Press stuff to him. Obviously,
this makes it his fault.

I'll use your "half a second" note as my new justification for
speeding. (A sore subject lately since I got my first speeding ticket
yesterday, after a clean record of 34 years of driving. And on New
York Avenue, too. When I think of all the times I've had to drive
slowly on that road, I think I was justified in going 11 mph over the
speed limit, but I doubt if DC judges would see it that way.)
