Elizabeth Hand, former DC area resident, has a new book:

Chip Crockett's Christmas Carrol.

144 pages: this is the first separate publication of the 40,000 word
novella and is illustrated by a set of nine etchings by Judith Clute,
who also designed the dustjacket. LIMITED EDITION: 222 numbered copies
signed by both author and artist.

This edition incorporates some changes since first published on
SciFi.com and later in her collection Bibliomancy.

Published by Beccon Publications in the UK.

I have but 3 copies.  $40.00 each.  What doesn't sell at WSFA 3rd

And the other book news is the forthcoming Tiptree bio, see:
http://www.julie-phillips.com/index.htm .  At Readercon there were
copies of a sample chapter on the freebie table.  It dealt with
Sheldon's CIA career.  Let's just say that Phillips knows how to
write... just wonderful prose.  She'll be at Worldcon this year on Sat &
Sun.  I should have copies of the book there.
