AboutSF is a joint project of the _University of Kansas_ (http://www.ku.edu/) , the _Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America_ (http://www.sfwa.org/), and the _Science Fiction Research Association_ (http://www.sfra.org/) , with generous support from _Tor Books_ (http://www.tor.com/) and several individual donors. One service is AboutSF Speculation Speakers and Media Resource, a program that can help event planners to find entertaining experts who are qualified to cover topics ranging from science fiction, fantasy and horror all the way to cutting-edge science and other aspects of our rapidly-transforming future. Engagements may be available at low (or zero) cost for local events (e.g. at libraries or schools near the speaker's home) or at reasonable honorarium rates for top speakers when extensive travel is required. Many members of the Speculation Speakers are also available to the press for comment on stories related to speculative fiction or futurism or breaking stories about technology and our rapidly changing world. _http://aboutsf.com/speakers/index.php_ (http://aboutsf.com/speakers/index.php) Thomas Seay is the AboutSF coordinator, _info at aboutsf.com_ (mailto:info at aboutsf.com) Posted by Dave Anderson, dander1938 at gmail.com (mailto:info at aboutsf.com) Colleen R.
