Subject: [WSFA] party announcement

It is with great pleasure that I announce to all and sundry that I
am turning 50 in November.  To celebrate this popular baby-boom rite
of passage, I am throwing a birthday party on November 11, 2006,
at Stately Ginter Manor, 10404 43rd Avenue, Beltsville MD 20705.
Festivities will begin at 3:00 p.m. and end when we feel the need
to drown the last stragglers in the currently inoperable hot tub.

We will barbeque hamburgers, hot dogs, and anything else you might
feel like bringing.  There will be munchies and (of course) birthday
cake, but more elaborate side dishes are up to you.  Tubs of soda and
beer will be provided.

Two pi=F1atas will be smashed: one for the kids and one for the adults.
To make this a memorable event, please bring a few weird items for
either or both.

Show I.D. proving you, too, were born in 1956 and you can take home
an inflatable alien.

There are cats galore and many children will be in attendance, so take
appropriate medication.  Stately Ginter Manor house rules will be
enforced, so no smoking anywhere and do not plan on licking any of
the cats.

If you got more than one copy of this message, we're sorry.  Of course
your significant other, children, and other household members are
invited.

How to get there?  Follow these simple instructions:

Follow your favorite route to Route 1 and the beltway (Maryland side).
Go north (toward Laurel).  Go through 3 traffic lights.  Turn left on
Montgomery Street, between the 7-11 and a Shell station.  Go about =BD
mile and turn left on 43rd Avenue just before the red flashing light.
Go to the bottom of the hill just past the Speed Limit 10 sign.  10404
43rd Avenue is big and gray with large oak and pine trees out front.
