I had been unaware until 2005 that Lee had been spreading poisonous
gossip about me behind my back since at least 2002. I'm still not
sure whether Alexis had been doing the same before this week.

Until this week, I had suspected they were relying on my strong
aversion to the legal system. But that doesn't explain their also
daring to libel numerous other WSFAns.

It would be an interesting case. The Gillilands' lawyer would
probably argue that no harm was done since nobody believes the
Gillilands. It's not as if they had any other viable defense.
There's plenty of hard evidence, including list archives, meeting
minutes, and tapes of the meetings.

A year ago I said I would hold onto those tapes for two years, then
donate them to WSFA if WSFA wanted them. I chose two years because
that's the statute of limitations for libel and slander suits, and
someone might want to sue. Since the libel is continuing, I will
reset the clock, and hold onto those tapes for two years from when
Alexis's letter was distributed. And I may reset it again if Alexis
or Lee continue their defamation campaign.

Last night I said Alexis's letter defamed every Disclave and Capclave
chair of the past decade, except Lee. On closer examination, it
actually defamed every Disclave and Capclave chair *ever*, except of
course for Lee and Alexis, and except for those no longer in the club.

Indeed their is. It replaced my street address as the official
location of WSFA.org. (Capclave.org is officially in Sam Lubell's
condo.) It's also listed as a contact address at the main WSFA.org
page, and also on the WSFA.org/email.htm page.

Our constitution says WSFA itself resides at Eric Ginter's house. It
also contains Rosa Oliver's address. (Rosa left WSFA in the '80s.)

She's also still listed at Capclave '07's "Party Tzarina" and as
"Information Central & Green Room." And, last I heard, she was the
Activities Committee.

Careful. By that reasoning, I should change the name of this
email list.
