(Shrug) Why should fandom be any different from those still fighting
the Civil War?

You, Ted White, And Steve Stiles are, I believe, the only folks on
either WSFA list who were there at the time.  Of what I read, it was
certainly a difficult time... and it was all done pretty much postally.
Imagine the Boondoogle via email... oh my.

Hopefully forty years from now people will look back at the current
fiasco and also go (Shrug)....
