A parrot with a 950 word vocabulary.  The bird had seen a picture of Dr
Jane Goodall, the renowned chimpanzee expert, with apes.  Later, upon
meeting Goodall in person, the bird said "Got a chimp?"

Winston Churchill's blue macaw, bought by Churchill in 1937, delivers
anti-Nazi tirades laced with strings of obscenities.  The parrot was
still living when this article was written in 2004.  It is thought the
bird was born in 1899, and it has outlived several owners.
