I doubt the list is set to be moderated.  "Moderator" was just a
reference to those people who are not owners, but who have some
control over the settings of the list.  Lots of lists have those so
that the list owner doesn't have to do all the work
personally.  "Assistant to the owner" would be most correct, but the
term "moderator" is commonly used.  If the list were to be set to
"moderated" (or whatever Yahoo calls the setting), then they'd also
be the people who could approve postings for transmission to the
list, and since this is the most common function of such people,
that's probably why the title is what it is.
