Well, I went. The only person I knew there was Eva Whitley, who saw
someone she recognized but I didn't. David had a group of 7 or 8
folks hanging around shmoozing, and occasional folks coming through
and getting a book signed. I came in early, got a book signed, got
some dinner, and came back for a while.

I'd guess he signed/sold 1-2 dozen books in an hour-and-a-half. A
little startling to me. He apparently had two other appearances in
DC and VA, possibly he did better there. Intereesting to note that
the series he's starting off with this book is being done by
Tor. Jim B. must be spinning.
