I've decided, for reasons you and Ted cite, to just stay
with it --I'm *finally* done with the art (whew! wipes brow,
cleans brushes, shuts down Photoshop) and need to get on to
actually *writing* my two talks, nor do I think that anyone
will feel that this is some kind of reference to David.
