Barry Malzberg's fascinating curmudgeony book about SF - The Engines of
the Night (a 1983 Hugo nomiee) has been expanded tc etdc and reissued
by, of all publishers, Baen.

Andy Wheeler has been writing about it on his blog, and recently posted
