Or maybe they are just like Americans and totally capable of going off
half-cocked about something that is only hearsay.  Americans know damn good
and well that Hollywood writers need some serious ex-lax but even with
that, a large segment of the population sees whatever is on the screen as
being real.  This is no surprise, it is simply a case of people being people.
