OTOH, POD is a great way to bring an out of print book back into print.
I have bought a book from Lulu.com that I had wanted for years, and
the reprint turned out to be greatly revised for the better.
POD may be the ideal place for the niche market, especially when
combined with some sort of website or blog to advertise it..
