A number of weeks ago, after the discussion of the incident involving Keith,
Bill and Elizabeth at Balticon, about which I had strong feelings at the
time, I began to compose responses.  I got busy with other things (helmet
to change shape of baby's head, for example), did not think through or
complete these messages, but also did not remove them from my outgoing
mailbox.  Tonight while I was away, Sholey sent all the messages in that
box in an attempt to send pictures to a friend.  I believe that two
incomplete, incoherent, repetitious, unedited messages were sent to the
WSFA list.

It was wrong of me to neglect to move this kind of message to a place
where it would not be accidentally sent.  It seemed to me, that although
I was concerned by what had happened, that this boat had sailed without
me.  I did not (and do not) intend to restart the discussion on the list
after all this time.  I'm very sorry for the grief or anger that my
messages will inevitably cause.  I hope all concerned will forgive me
for my error.

I anyone is composing a carefully reasoned response to my messages, you
can save yourself a lot of trouble and simply leave out the careful
reasoning.  I can assure you I did.  Now, let's see about that
kiddy-porn attachment...
