It's *not* an official WSFA event and never has been.

It's the Bungalow party.  It's been going on for years.  As far as I can
recall it's always been voted as the 5th Friday party, but that only means
that WSFA isn't having one.  It's never come up but a guess they'd be
quite firm about it being anything other than the Bungalow party.

Most of the people there aren't WSFAns: John and Kathi have a lot of
friends.  They have a mailing list, which prints out the address labels,
but everyone is always welcome.  (Come to think of it I haven't been
invited personally yet but it's almost certainly because I haven't gotten
around to sending them my new address and the postcard has gone to the old
one.)

I'm sorry that you've forgotten this.
