I remember it that way too, but the first four hits on Google for a
search string of "'When a distinguished'" disagree.  This one for
instance: http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/73.html  I think we'll
need a source to decide which it is.

Amdahl also stated his law much more precisely...using math.  Info at
