Fundamentalist - from the two roots, "fundus" (Latin for "base") and
"mental" (English for "of the mind" or "thinking"), with the suffix
"-ist", meaning "one who does".  Therefore, "fundamentalist" means
"one who thinks from his base", or in more common terminology, a "butthead".
