"BSFS 45th Founding Anniversary Meeting/Party"

"The January 12, 2008 Baltimore Science Fiction Society meeting will
host a party celebrating the 45th anniversary of the founding of BSFS in
1963. Granted, it will be on the 12th of the month and not the 11th---
but close enough to 45 years from the day. Although we are not inviting
local dignitaries as done for the 40th anniversary and likely for the
50th, we hope many people in SF fandom will show up and help us mark 45
years of science fiction fannish activity. Short meeting starts at
8:30pm followed by cake. This is your excuse to see the Christmas Dalek
in all of its finery, so mark your calendar."
