And I haven't heard any gossip to that effect either. -----Original Message----- From: Keith F. In it, there's a letter from Alexis Gilliland, which says, in part: Martin Morse Wooster has taken it upon himself to be your correspondent in resident on the subject of WSFA, even though my sources tell me he hasn't been to a WSFA meeting for quite some time. I don't doubt that he is quoting what Keith said on Keith's so-called WSFA list, but if Martin had taken the trouble to check his facts, he would have learned that Keith is not currently a member of WSFA, and that the club is considering legal action to make him stop using WSFA in the name of his list. So, is there any truth to his claim that WSFA is considering legal action against me for not shutting down this list? Or for not changing its name, even though it is, as always, only for past and present WSFA members? If so, I've received no notice, nor even any informal request. I can't check recent meeting minutes for discussion of such action, as none of them since August of last year are online. I continue to maintain this list since many past and present WSFA members refuse to subscribe to any Yahoogroups list, for various reasons. This list still gets plenty of use. A few months ago Ted told me it gets more use than the official Yahoogroups list. If WSFA were to switch to almost anything other than Yahoogroups, I think everyone would be pleased, and I could merge this list into it. Then people wouldn't have to either choose one list or the other, or subscribe to both and put up with seeing many messages twice. As for the mention of Martin, in the previous issue, six months ago, he had a letter in which he claimed I had rejoined WSFA. I immediately sent File 770 a correction, which appears in the current issue. I have no idea where Martin got the idea I had rejoined WSFA, as I never claimed I had, nor have I attended any meetings since I resigned in 2005. I certainly didn't post any such statement on this list, as Alexis claims. I am not at all pleased that more than two years after I left the club to make the abuse stop, Alexis is still sniping at me. What does he want of me?
