The club secretary has always been the corresponding secretary as
well as the recording secretary, archivist, and point of contact.

I was secretary in January of 2005, so it was my job to make sure the
card was sent. Ernest Lilley volunteered to take care of it. At the
next meeting, he had forgotten. At the meeting after that, he didn't
show up. At the meeting after that, the club president, Sam Lubell,
brought a condolence card for Jack. We signed it. It had also been
signed at Boskone. At the meeting after that he said he had mailed
it. You never got it?

WSFA also voted, on my motion, to send a 70th birthday card to LASFS.
I did so, and I've been told its on prominent display at their clubhouse.

WSFA also voted, on my motion, to send a 70th birthday card to PSFS.
Alexis volunteered to do so, but to the best of my knowledge never
did so.

WSFA just can't get good help these days. This may have something to
do with how WSFA treats its hardest workers.
