Have we been missing some emails?

I confess to being somewhat puzzled.  Not long ago there was an
announcement that a WSFAn had been nominated for a major award.  Not long
ago the subject of some significant Hugo voting issues were mentioned.  I
was surprised and a bit disappointed that there was no response to either
and then it occurred to me: are some emails not going through?
