I was just looking at the Goddard calendar of events
and one event jumped out at me:

June 3     Keynote Speaker: George Takei, aka "Sulu"
from Star Trek:  Co-sponsored by Goddard's Asian
Pacific American Advisory Committee (APAAC) and Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Advisory Committee
(GLBTAC).  This will take place in the Building 8
Auditorium, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

The event will probably be packed and if you don't
have a GSFC badge it might be tough to get in, but I
thought folk might want to know about it.
