I saw it in the actual paper paper. (This was last Thursday, the
22nd.) But I've found it online at
http://www.legacy.com/washingtonpost/DeathNotices.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonID=110148170

It's very short, but it does mention that he was a member of PRSFS
and PCSWDC. (it doesn't mention that these stand for Potomac River
Science Fiction Society and Pre Columbian Society of Washington DC.)

My understanding is that Martin Morse Wooster will be writing a full
obituary for publication in the Washington Post.

The funeral still hasn't been scheduled, that I know of. When I learn
when and where it will be, I will post that info here unless someone
else beats me to it.

At Balticon I learned that he had retired (from the EPA) just one week
before his death.

The memorial event at Balticon was well attended. Past and present
WSFAns who were there include Martin Morse Wooster (who ran the
event), Mike Walsh, Bob MacIntosh, John Pomeranz, Kathi Overton, Dan
Hoey, and myself. My apologies to anyone I didn't notice or forgot.
