Thing look like would get a speeding ticket while parked. Speed does have a 'look' to it, don't it? ;-) I remember Rich Kolker (past WSFAn and 10 time Chairman of August Party), telling me about his stint in the Air Force as a PR guy. He was at some base in (I think) Alabama and they had an SR-71 operating out of there for a couple of weeks. He was given strict orders to "neither confirm not deny that an SR-71 was operating from the base." He said it was the most ridiculous order he ever got and told about getting a phone call from a local newspaper asking about the SR-71 that was shooting touch-and-go landings on the runway, and he had to answer, "I can neither confirm not deny..." <WWWWHHHHHHZZZZOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!! of SR-71 going overhead> "...the rumor that there is an SR-71 operating from this base." -- Mike B.
