Subject: [WSFA] Marilee Layman is in the hospital

Marilee Layman is in the Neuroscience ICU at Fairfax Hospital,
suffering from a stroke.  I don't know how many of you know her.  I
don't think she's ever been to a WSFA meeting, but she has attended,
and hosted parties at, Disclaves and Capclaves.  For a long time she
was a very prolific poster on the rec.arts.sf.fandom newsgroup.

I visited her in the hospital on Sunday afternoon.  This was a side
trip from visiting my mother, who is in another ICU at the same
hospital.  This was convenient.  But I'd much prefer to do without
such conveniences.

I'll probably visit both of them again tomorrow.
