I have manually un-HTMLd the second one and appended it here: From: <lees103 at verizon.net> This is a second sending of this message. Apparently it was eaten by the Internet squirrels when I first sent it. Lee WSFA will hold its annual election for members of the Board of Directors and the Literary Awards Committee following the First Friday in May 2009 business meeting. The location is Cathy Green's apartment. The following is a list of current candidates for the various offices. The Trustees announced our slate at the First Friday in April business meeting and we subsequently got another candidate for Secretary. Members of the Literary Awards Committee will serve for 2 years beginning with the First Friday in November 2009. The Chair of Capclave 2011 will serve beginning immediately upon election and continuing until the convention is held and the business of the convention is wrapped up. The other members of the Board of Directors will serve for 1 year beginning with the First Friday in June 2009. Board of Directors: President: Lee Strong Vice President: Judy Newton Secretary: Sam Lubell and Steve Smith Treasurer: Christina "Tina" Abel Chair, Capclave 2011: Cathy Green Literary Awards Committee, 2009-11: Cathy Green, Elspeth Kovar, Sam Lubell, Bob MacIntosh, Gayle Surratt, and Mike Walsh. Note: Three (3) positions will be elected. Normally, the Senior Trustee presides over the entire Election Meeting. Since Judy and I are candidates for office, Colleen Cahill will conduct the first portion of the election. In order to conduct WSFA business, we need to have a quorum of 15 members in good standing. Please make every effort to attend the Election Meeting so that we can choose the best candidates for the coming year(s). In the event that we do not have a quorum for either the First Friday in May business meeting or election meeting, business will be carried over until the next regular meeting, the Third Friday in May meeting.
