"Fool's Fate" I would expect, there being no Robin Hobb novel called =
"Fool's Fete" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Hobb .

As for finding the book a search of Google using a random line from the =
novel (as found on Amazon) has Amazon coming up first. One needs to do a =
"repeat the search with the omitted results included" to get the Google =
Books results

Hope things work out for her.
