It's half the size of a paperback book, but has a gig of RAM, a 2.5"
SATA drive (160 gigs in most models, but if you get the one without a
drive or OS, you can have whatever you like...mine has 500 gigs, and
Ubuntu Linux), outputs HDMI video, and uses a 1.6 Ghz Atom processor.
You can leave it on all the time too...only 6 watts and no sound (the
only moving part is the HD, and you can get a SSD instead and eliminate
that too).

Doesn't look like you guys got as much as we did.  You can still see the
bush, and it isn't crushed to the ground like the ones around here.
Even the trees are bent over at 90 degrees here in some cases.

I suspect that you will have an interesting trip indeed.  The
interstates should be plowed...mostly...but the various stops along the
way may not be yet.  Make sure you take survival gear along in case you
get stuck.  Isn't going much above freezing this week.
