I remember a number of years, back in the seventies, wandering or calling him (we both lived in University City in Philly), and asking to borrow his garden hose, and his std. response, "moving again?" (I had a waterbed), then coming to the door, and he'd answer, "woof, woof" (we both loved Pogo, and he associated with Beauregard, the dog, while I did (several costumes, including one that won an award at the Louisville NASFiC in '79, as Churchy la Femme. *shit* He was a good guy, and I think the best editor of Asimov's. mark
