Only about twice what it would take to fly. I drove to Indianapolis back in 2001 for an Aikido event. Took 11 hours each way...one day drive. Unlike those who flew, I got to attend the whole event. The airlines decided to cancel flights and rescheduled a bunch of attendees from the evening Sunday flights to the noon Sunday flights...and it was a two day event...Saturday and Sunday. I also didn't have any problems with security getting my weapons into the car... -- Mike B.
