Howard is an acquired taste. He is quite pulpy, sometimes even overly
purple. But most of what he wrote has - for me - a charging narrative
that just grabs one by the lapels and takes you along.

There's a spiffy movie about Howard: The Whole Wide World starring
Vincent D'Onofrio & Renée Zellweger . Lots of inexpensive copies on
Amazon. Or perhaps your local video rental place.

YMMV of course.

Unexpectedly good. Thanks. (and I don't even like Conan.)
