He is quite pulpy, sometimes even overly purple. But most of what he wrote has - for me - a charging narrative that just grabs one by the lapels and takes you along. There's a spiffy movie about Howard: The Whole Wide World starring Vincent D'Onofrio & Renée Zellweger . Lots of inexpensive copies on Amazon. Or perhaps your local video rental place. YMMV of course. mjw >>> Tamar Lindsay <dicconf at yahoo.com> 6/29/2010 2:59 PM >>> Unexpectedly good. Thanks. (and I don't even like Conan.) =Tamar ----- Original Message ---- From: Michael Walsh <mjw at press.jhu.edu> To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at KeithLynch.net>; wsfa-forum at yahoogroups.com Sent: Tue, June 29, 2010 9:30:29 AM Subject: [WSFA] Conan the Barbarian: The Musical I know everyone has been eagerly awaiting this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBGOQ7SsJrw mjw
