Catching up on old posts:

None of my own stories (although "The Peacock King," which ended up in
F&SF, did elicit a two-page letter of rejection). But, as his agent, I
sold Bob Shaw's first half-dozen or so stories in the US, most of them
(including "Light of Other Days") to John Campbell. And back when I was
trying to become a professional illustrator, circa 1960, he gave me an
hour of his time, one on one, in his office, which I regarded as
generous of him. But he rejected my art, too.
