I think a more interesting question might be which sf/f author (living/not =
living) had/has the longest active writing career?  I think Jack Williamson=
 is way up there ...

Jack Vance turns 94 years old today.  I think he's the oldest living
SF author.

Last week I posted, here, to PRSFS, and on rasff:

  Ray Bradbury turns 90 years old today.  I think Fred Pohl, who turned
  90 last November, is the only older living SF author.

On rasff Andy Leighton call my attention to Jack Vance's upcoming
birthday, and pointed out that Doris Lessing and E.C. Tubb are both
older than Fred Pohl, though not as old as Jack Vance.

What's the oldest any SF author has ever been?
