Not quite accurate.  He was knighted first, then decided to
forge his own sword.  He did include some meteoritic iron
with the iron he smelted from a deposit on his own land,
using a fire fueled by sheep dung, probably from sheep on
his own land.  A blacksmith did most of the forging, with
a few whacks of the hammer by Sir Terry.
