Barnes & Noble SF Buyer had the book presented to him, he apparently = thought he could sell some number of them, and since it was available from = Diamond Comics (yes, they distribute more than just comics) it was easy to = acquire (and to return if need be). > Is it in bookstores all over the US, >or just around here? I would guess that it's probably in those B&Ns that the buyer identified = as stores that sell lots of Turtledove. As for other stores, I would guess not. >What about other WSFA Press books? The previous ones ... not likely. Bookstores want what is new! New !! = New !!!!!!!! >Is anyone really willing to spend $25 for such a small book? Last I heard the book is in the black. As for sales in B&N ... the odds = are good that some number will sell. Few books have 100% sell trough. = And books are - in general - returnable. >I was actually looking for his _The Man with the Iron Heart_. >Does anyone know when it's coming out in mass market paperback? Del Rey has been keeping a lot of books in the trade pb format for = sometime. Apparently it works for their business model. >I'm not willing to pay trade paperback prices. A number of ex-library hardcovers are listed on Abebooks.com and Amazon.com= for $4, and that includes shipping. mjw
