Yes, the clean air act, and the clean water act have had some very good
effects, but anyone who thinks that there has been no harm from them is
an ignorant fughead.  Go ahead and ignore it if you like...just pray
that you never own property that the EPA takes an interest in for any
reason whatsoever, whether it's due to your actions or those of previous
owners you had no knowledge of.  They have the US government to pay
their court costs and attorney fees, but you will have to pay your own.
