I'm fine with plain text, but I draw the line at fixed-width fonts, all =
of which look ugly on a monitor screen, and I don't regard them as =

necessary for getting my email program (Thunderbird) to behave =

properly. =

I thought that when one sends a plain text message, there is no particul=
ar font specified. It's just plain text. When one views an incoming pl=
ain text message, the settings of one's email program would control whic=
h font appears.

So is Keith saying that we should put outgoing messages in fixed width f=
ont, or is he just recommending that we view messages in fixed width fon=
t, to avoid anomalous results in viewing?
