So, this morning, I heard on the news a "pirate spokesman", claiming
they were a volunteer coast guard, fighting illegal fishing.

Now, there is that, along with illegal dumping of toxic waste, but
really... and I had this reaction:

Arrrh, matey! This ain't no oil tanker, it's an illegal fishing vessel,
after the plesiosaurs and mososaurs in our waters!
