What mailer are you using?

The message that I get from the list is showing no content header lines,
so it's getting treated as plain text here.

The "=0A" stuff are line feeds, but in a form that makes it look like
it's being done as "quoted printable" along the line somewhere.  I'm
wondering if your "plain text" isn't so plain, and is actually more like
"content-type: plain/text" or something, with a "quoted-printable" line
too, and that's getting stripped, so us receiving people just display
what we get, without the proper processing to make it look like it should.

Wild guess.
