Don't have time to read all of it, but did he say that *all* other
nearby clubs don't charge anything?  If not, then if there are at least
two other clubs nearby that don't charge anything, then there would be
"other nearby clubs" that don't charge.  It would be accurate, though
misleading.

I don't consider Philadelphia to be "nearby".  Even Baltimore is pushing
things for me (over an hour's drive with traffic).

Regardless of all that, I don't think that WSFA's dues are an inhibiting
factor for anyone.  I spend more in gas to get to a meeting than WSFA
charges for annual dues (2.6 gallons round trip to either meeting
location from here, at ~ $4/gallon).  Folks taking Metro will rapidly
exceed dues with travel costs too.
