I guess Hollywood is still bankrupt in the ideas department.

Seems to me that a movie that can still pull a crowd decades later did
it right the first time, and doesn't need to be "remade".  Waste of time
and resources.  They should spend both on something that deserves
making, but hasn't been yet.  There are thousands of possibilities.
