As I understand it after a quick use
of Google, the Higgs-Boson particle
is theoretically the first particle
to come into existence at the
beginning of the universe.  Religious
types apparently think that has to be
a god.  What surprises me is that
the construct is being used in Europe.
I still cling to my illusion that
there are a few more sensible people
over there.
