I have 1 big party per year around the first of the year.  It is a
combination of (a) the monthly  Metropolitan Washington Mensa open house to
welcome new members and let prospective members see what the group is like
and (b) a general open house to which I invite friends, neighbors, and
members of other groups.  Come see my wall of travel photos  and enjoy
refreshments.  Pop in and out or stay the whole time.

2 - 6 PM New Members Open House +

FREE Final Food Filled Festive Fling (of the season)

Find a fine future fascinating friend here as many fields

are likely to be found among the folks attending. This is

an enhanced version of the standard New Members Open

House. It is extended 1 hour to allow all to enjoy after dark

Holiday decorations including 2 large electric candles from

the 1930's and an aluminum tree that has become a collectors's

item. There will be ample nibbles and beverages. RSVP ' s are not

required but would be appreciated.  Easy to get to. The party is at the home
of Rebecca

Prather, 2902 Cleave Dr , Falls Church , VA 22042 , just off

Westover St., very near Seven Corners (where Routes 7

and 50 intersect). Call on (703)534-2274 for directions as

early as possible. (Hint - Cleave doesn't intersect Route

50). Plenty of parking.
