PEPCO has done a fine job fixing their problems over the last couple of years. The wind blew a lot, but it wasn't as strong as I'd expected for a hurricane passing 75 miles north of here. Didn't even lose any large branches...just small dead stuff and leaves. I've got a damaged tree that the county is supposed to removed, but even it didn't lose anything large...which was a major worry given where it is, and what looks like it could go any time now. Appearances can be deceiving I guess. I hope everyone else came through unscathed too. -- Mike B.
