More surprising than the size is the lack of automation for pulling
orders...I'd have thought they'd have set that up a decade ago. People
pushing shopping carts around isn't the fastest, most efficient, or even
the least error-prone way to run an operation like that.

They do service orders quickly and usually correctly despite that
however. I've been buying stuff from or through them since they opened
back in the mid 90s, and they've always been very good to deal with.

If you haven't, check out their "Amazon Prime" deal. It's a bit over
$70 a year, and you get free 2 day shipping on anything marked "Prime",
which is nice, but even nicer is that you also get access to the Amazon
Prime video service at no extra cost. I've been watching Fringe on that
recently for instance...three seasons of that covered the cost of the
Prime deal for the year all by itself.
