As we went up Cumberland pass there were fewer and fewer cars on the road: people who couldn't handle driving on ice had slid off to the side. And everyone was keeping a lot of distance which resulted in going steadily. (I was really glad that Dan was driving at the time. I know how to drive on ice and probably would have made it but he'd grown up in Pittsburgh.) Elspeth
