Wasn't it the Toyota Tercel that they used in that old TV ad with the
drag race with the Green Monster (jet car)?  Where the Toyota had a
headstart of 75 yards and was passed at 93 yards. (I googled it...and
no, it was the Corona, not the Tercel...it's here if you want to see it:

On the other hand, as they pointed out in the ad, the Toyota had more
passenger and luggage space, and got much better gas mileage.
